The grand prize-winning entry of the 13th Annual Veneer Tech Craftsman’s Challenge™ is “Regency Circular Office” by Keith Morgan, Bespoke, of Larchwood, IA. The level of execution, complexity of design, and intricate details of this installation impressed the judges with its exceptional sequence matched imbuya burl panels and walnut trim and crown molding. As announced at AWFS® Las Vegas, Bespoke is awarded the $3000 top prize in this design competition recognizing excellence in veneer woodworking. Certainly Wood, the distributor that supplied the materials, is awarded $2000, and sales representative Greg Engle is awarded $1000, in recognition of their roles in the supply chain. [more]
